Dinosaur Footprint Track – Plaster Cast
Theropod dinosaur tracks are typically three-toed (tridactyl), slender, and longer than they are wide, often exhibiting sharp claw impressions, similar to modern bird feet. These fossilized tracks vary in size, indicating diverse species ranging from small, fast-moving, and trotting theropods to large, slow-walking, predatory dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
In Theropods the 2 toes on the outside of the feet form a "V" shape. In contrast, Ornithopod outer toes form more of a "U" shape.
